Our past experience helped us become consultants, building brand identity and cultural sincerity. We’re best known for our work with the likes of Red Bull Music Academy, Wray & Nephew, Magnum, Ballantine’s and adidas. We are a social-first agency helping brands share their love for music.
THE ROLE
The Community Manager is the culture and community engagement lead for the account. This includes active network engagement (both offline and online) with content, channels, partners and talent that are relevant to the brand and the social media strategy. They are the guardian of brand tone of voice, ensuring how and where the brand shows up socially is on point. They are responsible for managing outgoing and incoming activity on channels and are responsible for product seeding.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Community Manager with proven experience of building and growing highly engaging social media channels in music - with specific expertise in global electronic/bass music (key markets include South Africa, Poland, Russia, Brazil, Spain, US and UK). You’ll be quick on your feet, know loads about music, create content on the fly, react in real time to events in music and have a strong passion and skill for social media.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the brand’s social platforms and be their voice within music
- Planning, creation, publication and amplification of content calendar
- Proactively and engage with relevant artists, communities, scenes and pages from respective key markets
- Jump on reactive moments and respond in the brand’s TOV to further their credibility and engagement
- Manage scheduling and posting aligned to global brand content calendar
- Bring new social engagement tactics to the table
- Help develop, produce and manage low level social content formats
- Responding to any DMs via Insta and Twitter
- Monitoring of conversation on social, feedback and customer relations alongside flagging anything that requires immediate attention
- Ensure the upholding of brand’s Tone of Voice guidelines
- Support Culture Director in shaping and programming strategy
- Develop and manage amplification tactics to drive engagement of the brand’s content
- Track and build social performance reports based on activity taking place
- Report into directors and Business Director weekly
- Be up to date & ensure adherence to ASA & Portman guidelines
- Support on general account management, reporting and client management
- Consider how the brand can further support and integrate within music culture
- Manage the stock seeding strategy for the brand
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years experience working in community management either at agency or in-house with a brand
- Passionate about, and connected in, music
- Deep understanding of all social media platforms, features, tools and amplification tactics
- Experience of activating music platforms such as Spotify
- Experience of brand marketing - understand strategy and methods to reach consumers
- Knowledge of brand - understand their activity and tone of voice in music
- Experience of producing and publishing content and social media assets with strong narrative
