We’re best known for our work with the likes of Netflix, Red Bull Music Academy, Wray & Nephew, Magnum, Ballantine’s and Converse London.
THE ROLE
The Digital Strategist has strong experience in data and performance. Solving problems, discovering trends and defining brands, you’ll work hard to deliver some really impactful work. Confident and passionate, you’ll conduct research and analyse trends to help craft impressive strategies. Working on projects from concepts through to briefing and execution, you’ll make the most of your expert knowledge and strategic mindset.
They will work closely with the Strategy director leads and culture strategist to inform, define and create brand, digital or campaign strategies for clients and prospective clients. They will have a deep understanding of brands, social media and culture and will use this expertise to drive and shape campaigns and always-on. The Digital Strategist will have strong communication and organisational skills and have a genuine desire to work with a team of creative doers.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Digital strategist to join the team for 360 campaigns and always-on for brand clients who activate in music and culture. You will have experience in all aspects of digital strategy and be used to working across multiple account teams adding your expertise and knowledge of social and digital platforms. You’re aware of and have a deep understanding of all areas of the digital ecosystem and how it all links together. You will have deep knowledge of all social media platforms {inc emerging platforms}. You will be equipped at owning and assisting in the discovery, interpretation, presentation and drawing strategic recommendations from performance data. And finally, be able to understand the fundamentals of what makes a great strategy and can back up any idea or proposal, with insights collected from primary (proprietary research and analytics) or secondary data (gathered from desktop research or personal observations) - all for projects involving music, social purpose {with a lens on DE&I}, culture and community.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Championing Digital Strategy across Warm Street, keeping abreast of key trends, sharing this with the teams and bringing specialist knowledge across our core digital disciplines: Social, Digital, Earned and Paid.
Able to see beyond the data to insights that can create a strategic narrative good enough to support responses to both client asks and new business opportunities.
You will be the gatekeeper of various data tools – including Sprinklr, Social Bakers, Google Analytics, and GlobalWebIndex - as well as being responsible for educating and training others, across the Warm Street team
The lead in the development and implementation of efficient and effective reporting for clients on any projects or campaigns. Also, be able to help identify new and improved measurement and research methods - we are evolving and want to find the best way to report and share our insights/learnings!
Apt at paid media and able to interrogate and build out a strategy in line with paid best practice
Build and run digital and social audits for prospective clients - interpreting their footprint and what they can do better {where Warm Street can come in!}
Ability to run dedicated digital trend workshops for our clients that consider the digital marketing ecosystem
Deeply passionate about music culture and experience of music campaigns, specifically, insight into how the music industry use digital and social
Lead in Best in-class agency marketing expertise across Warm Street
Interrogating briefs and responses: challenging and building on strategic choices.
Work closely with the Strategy team to ensure effective measurement of all social media campaigns., This is about setting KPIs and working with the teams across the agency to manage the implementation and reporting frameworks, being a leader in best practices across the teams
Peer-to-peer collaboration with cultural strategist{s} in the team.
Support of agency-wide social media strategy.
Contribute to setting relevant social media strategy internal processes.
Support on dedicated new business pitches
Support on all business operations where relevant (resourcing, finance, legal).
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years experience across multiple accounts.
5+ years of overall experience within strategy, campaign development and roll outs
Advanced knowledge and understanding of social listening and measurement tools, Sprinklr, Sprout Social and more
Strong data and analytical skills, interpreting the numbers and turning this into actionable insights
Must have an interest and deep understanding of music and culture
Up-to-date with all social media best practice, formats, channels and technology.
Track record of data and insights driven strategy setting.
Exceptional problem solving and decision making skills.
Detailed understanding of social analytical tools.
Networked within the social media industry.
