THE ROLE
As an Events Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the production of Warm Street events, delivering for a variety of clients, from initial planning to execution.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing, planning, and executing the build of events, preparing and managing event budgets, sourcing and managing vendor contracts, overseeing event production activities, managing event staffing, preparing detailed event production schedules and timelines, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking experienced Events Production Managers to join us on some of our client projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing events from initial planning to execution, along with excellent project management, organisational, and problem-solving skills. The Events Production Manager will work closely with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure the successful delivery of events.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of event production, including lighting, sound, staging, and audiovisual equipment, and a keen eye on this in relation to brand experience. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with event logistics and have experience in vendor management. The ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff is essential.
The candidate should have a deep understanding of event safety and risk management. They should be knowledgeable about venue licences, insurance, and health and safety regulations. They should be able to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures to ensure a safe and secure event environment.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, plan, and execute events, including logistics, production, and vendor management.
Work closely with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure the successful delivery of events.
Working with key external stakeholders to secure permissions, and licensing, and to make safe plans with regards to attendees experience both on site and off site
Prepare and manage event budgets, including cost analysis, budget projections, and post-event reconciliation.
Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts and agreements.
Conduct site inspections and liaise with venue staff to ensure smooth event operations.
Oversee event production activities, including lighting, sound, staging, and audiovisual equipment.
Manage event staffing, including scheduling, hiring, training, briefing and supervision of event staff.
Prepare detailed event production schedules and timelines.
Develop and implement event safety plans and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong project management and communication skillesskills
Confidence to take a project from brief to final delivery with a high level of detail
Detailed in the delivery of scope of work, legal and budget documents
Ability to create strong relationship based on trust both internally and externally
Experience of running teams and projects in an organised and efficient manner
A confident communicator, able to demonstrate leadership both verbally and in writing
Ability to manage, lead, inspire and motivate team
Experience of brand marketing - understand strategy and methods to reach consumers
Passionate about brands and driving teams to deliver at the highest standard
Experience conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing appropriate safety measures
Ability to prepare and manage event budgets, including cost analysis, budget projections, and post-event reconciliation
Experience sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts and agreements
Ability to conduct site inspections and liaise with venue staff to ensure smooth event operations
Experience managing event staffing, including scheduling, hiring, training, and supervision of event staff
Ability to prepare detailed event production schedules and timelines
Familiarity with event safety plans and risk assessments
Strong understanding of the technical aspects of event production, including lighting, sound, staging, and audiovisual equipment
Familiarity with event logistics and experience in vendor management
Strong relationships with external stakeholders (particularly in London) - Councils, Metropolitan Police, LFB, LAS
